Do you really think it could be right to date a married man?  I would love to hear your reasons.  Have you thought about them?  Here are some things to ponder when you consider whether or not it is right to date that married man.

1.  Pretend you were married.  How would you feel if some other woman was dating your husband, a married man? If you ever found out, there would be a huge lack of trust between you and your husband and probably a great deal of hatred between you and the woman who is dating the married man.  Lack of trust and great deal of hatred are not good things.

2.  What is it in this married man you want to date that you can’t find in another, unmarried, man? Some women just want and adventure and sneaking around behind some poor woman’s back while dating her husband will give them that fix.  There are other ways to find excitement in life than dating a married man.

3.  Have you thought about the fact that if you ended up breaking up this man’s marriage and marrying him yourself that he might do the exact same thing to you? People are creatures of habit, and I sure wouldn’t want to be dating a married man if he had the habit of cheating.  You might say he’d never do it to you, but his wife probably said that, too.  Don’t lose your logic in your love.

I would encourage you to write a list of pros and cons to dating this married man.  If you are afraid someone might see your list, that is probably a clear indication that you should not date a married man.  Please think through all of the consequences of your action before you make it!
