Yes, it is okay to cry! We have tear ducts for a reason! It can be extremely healthy to release some tears every once in a while. While people feel it is okay to cry over breakups, at funerals, or when their dog dies, it is also perfectly normal to cry in other situations. Tears of sadness, anger, or joy can be quite the relief when you are overcome with emotion.
It’s okay for guys to cry, too. Guys are capable of broken hearts and hurt feelings just like girls are. It is more harmful to be fake than to just let go and let those emotions out. Bottling up emotions can be damaging. Don’t be ashamed of crying. It’s perfectly natural and healthy in small doses.
If you are crying constantly and just can’t stop, talk to someone: a guidance counselor, therapist, pastor, etc. Don’t cry your life away; get some help!

yes it is okay to cry. crying is a normal human function. without it we would probably commit suicide. it allows us to let out the sadness we should not hold in.
